Aruba's Beaches

Seagulls at Baby Beach in Aruba

11. Bachelor's Beach - Located on the sparsely settled side of Aruba near San Nicolas, Bachelor's Beach is accessible only by going "off-road." While you can do this by car, it is better if you rent a Jeep or other 4-wheel drive vehicle since the stone and dirt on which you drive can be quite rough. The beach has nice sand but rough water. There are no facilities. Be very aware of currents and undertows at this beach.

12. Boca Grandi Beach - Also on the sparsely settled side of Aruba is Boca Grandi Beach. It is very close to Bachelor's Beach, with the same cautions in getting there since you have to go "off-road." Boca Grandi is larger than Bachelor's Beach and has the same rough surf. Also no facilities. Be very aware of currents and undertows at this beach.

13. Andicuri Beach - If you have a chance to visit the Natural Bridge area on the North Side of the island you may want to stop by Andicuri Beach which is close-by. This is a sandy beach with high winds and heavy surf. No facilities here - but there is a gift shop and snack bar at the Natural Bridge area. Be very aware of currents and undertows at this beach.
