Aruba's Beaches
Relax and Enjoy Aruba's Warm Water, White Sand and Bright Sunshine
Aruba's great weather is highlighted by its great beaches. Long stretches of warm water and white sand call you
to relax under Aruba's bright sunshine and cooling breezes.
The best beaches for swimming in Aruba are located on the South side of the island. The North
side of the island bears the brunt of the ocean breeze and combines crashing waves with a rough coastline. On the
South side of the island you can expect to find very calm water and sandy beaches.
All beaches in Aruba are public - although the huts and facilities found along beaches such as Eagle Beach and
Palm Beach are typically for the guests of hotels and time shares found there.
The map below along with the description of each beach will give you an idea of those you might want to visit
while you are in Aruba. When you go be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen and water to help you deal with the hot
sun in Aruba. Also, when visiting beaches on the Northern side of Aruba be sure to stay very aware of currents and
undertows - the surf here is very rough.
