One of the BEST Things About Aruba is the
Weather!
If you are planning a trip to the Caribbean for your vacation - one of the key things you are looking for is great
weather, and Aruba has some of the best. For most of the year Aruba has high temperatures between 85 degrees and 90
degrees F (29 and 32 C). There usually is a nice breeze blowing across the islands that keeps you cool - and
as an added bonus - keeps away the mosquito and flys.
A few of points to remember about Aruba's weather -
- Unlike many other Caribbean islands, Aruba is arid with very little rainfall
- There is, however, a "rainy" season from late October to January when you may experience some showers
during the day with heavier rains at night.
- From February through May you normally have very little rain - this is the "dry" season on the
island.
- From May through September you can have occasional showers during the day - but they normally are very
brief "sprinkles" - not even worth getting out of the pool or off of the beach for.
- If you are prone to burn from exposure to the sun remember, sun screen, sun screen, sun screen (did we
mention sun screen?). We have seen some really bad sun burns that required medical treatment on the island. The
Aruban sun is hot and you can burn quickly. Take precautions - especially with children who love to play in the
sand and water.
Enjoy the weather and enjoy your trip!
